If you can’t be on the mountain, you can always look at the mountain.
A growing number of ski areas are installing webcams, and with each passing year the quality of them is getting better than the last.
Whether it is checking out the coverage at the summit, seeing how far the lift lines are on that powder day that you couldn’t get to or checking out the snow stake for how much snow fell overnight, they provide a fun visual.
Here’s a list of the New England ski areas with webcams.
